Jorgie was born and raised in Manchester and studied at Moorside High School. The feisty character of Hollyoaks' Theresa McQueen is her first television role having previously been a pupil at both the Francine Garton School of Dance and The Hammond School where Jorgie specialised in vocational dance, music and drama. Currently a hot favourite to go all the way with dance partner Matt Evers in ITV's seventh series of Dancing on Ice, the 24 year-old has ditched her lycra for leathers to launch the 2012 Bennetts Babes search.
 
Jorgie has a busy start to the year combining her Hollyoaks role with training for Dancing on Ice, as well as helping to select just eight girls from across the UK who think they have what it take to become a Bennetts Babe. Speaking at the launch of the Bennetts Babes competition, Jorgie said; "Being a Bennetts Babe not only means becoming an ambassador for the biking brand but also provides fantastic insight into the world of modelling and the biking industry.  With lots of national exposure to be gained, I'd encourage any budding beauties to get their skates on and apply".
